Finally, A Use For Hamsters

This is so totally fucking awesome I'm re-blogging it from Gizmodo before the ink is even dry, baby -- just in time for taxes, it's the Hamster Powered Paper Shredder. Unfortunately I won't be able to buy one as a kit from Office Max and pretend I'm Betty Rubble before the 15th, as it's part of an installation from artist Tom Ballhatchet (via), but the available salve for my disappointment is the completely fake and pointless USB hamster wheel which will certainly make me feel better about the ratio of blog posts vs. friends and sunlight that seems to get ever disproportionate.
