Beautiful: 24 Hours of Flight Patterns

The video is stunning: over at NPR they're featuring this video of designer Aaron Koblin's composite animations of a day's worth of FAA flight pattern data (air traffic over the US). Watching it is 1000 times more relaxing than actually flying.
