I had two austin Healy sprite's a 59 bug eye and a 73 sprite both were great fun to drive. I also had a GT 6 Plus Triumph also a blast to drive. Yes they had there problems to keep running and in tune. This is not the case with my love for Miata's I had a 1994 gen 2 with 275000 miles when Igot rid of it and it was still running great I just got into a 1 owner 1999 10am miata the owner I brought it from loved the car as the condition showed. Yes this one is really decked out with all the bells and whistles it's also numbered #2507 of 7500. I got a bang zoom deal and will leave it to my son someday. Thje bottom line is there is no comparing the older english cars to a miata for sheer owner experence and dependabilty

My Spanish isn't great, but I believe what marcelo is saying is that the chupacabra is a mythological legend --- a story for children, but paramilitary monsters are real. He then seems to say something about incidents in rocky area. I'm not all that sure, really.

Some of us with Autism think that Baron-Cohen is on to something about gender, sort of.

If you get a bunch of women with autism together in the same room, you'll find that many of them have serious problems with their period or were diagnosed with hirsutism, elevated blood or serum testosterone or untreatable acne.

All anecdote now, of course. Since autism is seen as a male disease, an because of the focus on it as a disease of the mind, I suspect that the hormone angle won't be investigated any time soon.

this stuff should definitley be illegal. ive seen first hand the horror of this scary and dangerous drug. one of my siblings became hooked on it and was so dylusional that he attacked me and was seeing things that werent there. he went into fits of rage and lost so much weight that he dropped to 106 pounds. being over six feet tall, that is incredibly dangerous. we had him taken to the hospital to get mental help and he was completley dehydrated. he looked liked a zombie laying there, it was so sad. i just want my brother back.

It is believed ( by erowid.org) that the drug that killed the people in Oklahoma was sold as 2C-E, but was mislabeled as Bromo-Dragonfly, or 1-(8-bromobenzo[1,2-b;4,5-b']difuran-4-yl) -2-aminopropane, by chemicology.net. I have done 2C-E in ~+30mg doses, ingested mostly intranasally, and been relatively fine. With drugs it is allllll about dosage. Be careful! Don't believe right off the bat what someone tells you. If anything, start off in very small doses and work your way up. Although I see how one could misjudge the dose due to how little actual powder there is per/mg.

F -- Yeah, I gotta agree with "oak" here. "Snopes does indeed gain money for biased reports into aspartame." Reference please? This sounds like complete made-up insanity, almost worthy of a Birther. If Diet Coke advertises on the Snopes site, well...I don't think that's really smoke, let alone fire. But you haven't even bothered to give us that.

"I and many other epilepsy sufferers of whoms seizures are triggered..." Reference please? Preferably peer reviewed, not just someone who thinks their disease is caused by X cause? There are many people convinced that problems they experience come from specific sources; you're really, really reaching to turn that on Snopes. How about people who think their schizophrenia is called by chemtrails? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

The neurotoxin accusations against aspartame are thin at best, so I'd like to see a reference.

"They ADMITTED it!" -- Huh? I read every Snopes page even vaguely relating to aspartame, and I don't remember anything about them admitting that they're being paid to write nice things about the sweetener. Perhaps you could offer a link?

Chinese Whispers: http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/chinese+whispers.html

"The basic story is TRUE" -- you have not established this; you have not argued for it; you have done nothing but state it. In vague terms. The basic story is NOT TRUE, as far as I'm concerned. Give me something to work with and I'll consider, for one second that you're not a lunatic.

Otherwise, you're left in the same category as "Dr." Leonard Coldwell, who's flat-out nuts.
