My dishware situation is in a shambles. Lots of vintage beauty falling apart, collected mismatched Japanese things with cute kitties or morbid insects on them, all in different colors and chipped and cracked. I long for the day when I can have a cohesive set of something more like nice plates and bowls, and less like when we all had milk crates for bookshelves.
Initially the Robert Mapplethorp set over on Kaboodle caught my eye (and if were sakura, or robot gears, would catch my credit card). But the above set of Urban Landscape china sure are super-cool.
