Fresh outta SXSW, where every bar was wonderful blogger-infested nest of beer-splashed Xacti’s, it’s fun to peep the mini-list of geek bars in this month’s Wired. No mention of the ubiquitous, celebrated event Bar Camp, but instead they mention establishments like The Miracle of Science Bar (great Gridskipper post on it here). The list seems watered-down and neglects links, and I’d love to see a more, ahem, serious investigation of these geek bars, rating wi-fi and outlet accessibility alongside beer selections. Still, it’s a fun idea.
